Management of Apprenticeship Contracts
Funding for WBL programmes is provided by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) which receives the funding directly from the Government. FCT holds an apprenticeship contract directly with the London North LSC regional office.
FCT is happy to travel the length and breadth of the country to advise on all of the above and help to make the administration and management of an apprenticeship programme simple and straightforward.
We can help your business by managing and administering the following:
- Apprenticeship inductions including completion of all the associated paperwork for the WBL apprenticeship scheme.
- Initial and diagnostic assessments – this is a requirement for entry onto an apprenticeship programme.
- NVQ Level 1 to Level 3 – assessment material, consultancy and certification (NVQ skills are taught in the workplace and assessed by in-company assessors).
- Key Skills Levels 1 to 3 – including the provision of workshops and assessments for external tests and portfolio building at learner’s place of work or at our fully equipped training facility. Click here for our Key Skills.
- Skills for Life – workshops on a one-to-one or group basis.
- Equality and Diversity – training and advice on recruitment.
- Technical Certificates – contract with colleges to provide agreed level of services and monitor quality.
- Close monitoring of learner progress through 10 weekly progress reviews at client premises.
- Manage and co-ordinate all associated inspections and audits.
