Learning & Development Programmes

GPT Mounter
We offer all-through training, assessment, verification and accreditation for City & Guilds Learning and Development NVQ assessor (A1 and A2) and verifier (V1) awards. We are also happy to work in partnership with client companies to deliver some or all of the services associated with NVQ accreditation.

Train the Coach

  • Five day programme covering practical techniques for coaching in a one-to-one environment, leading to the NVQ L12 Enable Individual Learning through Coaching unit.

Mentoring

  • One day workshop exploring skills and techniques involved in effective mentoring.
  • Two day programme combining workshop and practical sessions exploring issues surrounding mentoring and techniques required, leading to NVQ L14 Supporting Learners in the Workplace unit.
  • Four day programme combining workshop and practical sessions including mentoring, supporting learning, reviewing progress and evaluation of own practices, leading to the City & Guilds Level 3 Mentoring in the Workplace Award (units L14, L15, L16 and G3).

Learning and Development Awards

  • Tailored programmes leading to the following awards:
    • Learning and Development Levels 3, 4 or 5
    • Direct Training and Support Level 3
    • Management of Learning and Development Provision Level 4
    • Co-ordination of Learning and Development Provision Level 4

NVQ Unit Briefings

  • One day session covering requirements and paperwork for those interested in achieving L&D qualifications in any individual L&D units.
  • Units include L9 (Create a Climate that Promotes Learning), L10 (Enable Learning through Presentation), L11 (Enable Learning through Demonstration and Instruction), and L12 (Enable Individual Learning through Coaching).
  • This programme can be tailored to cover more than one unit if required, e.g. L9/L10.

Continuous Professional Development

  • One day workshop covering techniques of self evaluation, setting targets, time management and reflective practices.
  • Can be linked to the achievement of L&D unit (G3) or an equivalent management unit.

Support Competence in the Workplace

  • A programme aimed at those who support competence in the workplace by target setting and reviewing performance.
  • Can lead to NVQ unit L20, Support Competence Achieved in the Workplace.
