The Training Quality Standard is an assessment framework and an assessment and certification process which has been designed to recognise and celebrate the best organisations delivering training and development solutions to employers.

The Training Quality Standard has been designed to reflect employers' priorities and expectations in sourcing training and development solutions, and the practices of the organisations proven to be the best at delivering them.

Beacon status provides public recognition of the excellence and innovation which exists within the further education system. It celebrates learning providers that deliver outstanding teaching and learning and is for providers funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and inspected by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted).

The matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. The matrix Standard is useful for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance to external clients as part of their business and also for employers who are committed to developing their people.

The Investors in People Standard will give you a framework to ensure that you achieve this.It doesn't matter what size or type of organisation you are, the Investors in People Standard is there to help you improve the way you work. You have to meet the same criteria – or 'indicators' – as other organisations, but the Standard recognises that you will meet them in your own way. Investors in People recognises that organisations use different means to achieve success through their people. It does not prescribe any one method but provides a framework to help you find the most suitable means for achieving success through your people.

Qualbase is our City & Guilds assessment centre. It provides a central, all-through NVQ support and accreditation service.

Ofsted The Ofsted outstanding provider status is awarded to providers who are judged outstanding for their overall effectiveness.
